CAN SCOTT NATURALS™ TOWELS BE USED IN THE MICROWAVE WITH FOOD?
Yes, SCOTT Naturals™ Towels are safe for the microwave, following the same cautions as our standard SCOTT® Towels. If the product is used for microwave cooking, we recommend that you always note the precautions and follow the guidelines outlined in the microwave oven owner's manual. Do not dry herbs, vegetables or flowers on paper Towels in the microwave oven. Any paper product can burn during microwave cooking if conditions are right.

WHAT IS THE PERCENTAGE OF RECYCLED MATERIAL?
SCOTT Naturals™ Towels are made with 60% recycled fiber. By using a sensible blend of recycled and new (virgin) fiber, SCOTT Naturals Towels are able to provide the absorbency you expect from SCOTT® Towels while allowing you to make a smart choice for the environment.

WHAT ARE THE RECYCLED MATERIALS USED?
The recycled fiber is made of paper (mostly used office papers, but also small amounts of used newspaper and cardboard) that is sent to a recycling facility where it is washed, re-pulped, and combined into a sensible blend with new (virgin) fiber converted into paper towels.

WHAT IS THE SHEET COUNT?
All SCOTT Naturals™ Towels are available in a 102-ct Mega Roll, featuring Choose-A-Size sheets that allow you to choose the right amount of sheets for the job.

SCOTT Naturals™ Towels are made with packaging that is 20% post-consumer recycled plastic. However, at this time, the polymer (plastic) wrap is not recyclable due to the mix of materials used to make the wrap. Kimberly-Clark will continue to research advances in environmentally-compatible packaging, while providing the quality products that you deserve. As these solutions become available, we will incorporate them in our products.

WHAT IS USED TO BLEACH THIS PRODUCT?
You may be interested to learn that bleaching wood pulps purifies the cellulose fibers by removing highly colored lignin compounds. (Lignins are naturally occurring substances which "glue" cellulose fibers together in wood.) If not removed, lignins interfere with pulp and paper quality characteristics such as color, strength, feel, and shelf life of the final products produced. In short, bleaching is not done just for aesthetic reasons but is, rather, an essential step in making consistent, high quality pulp, tissue, and paper.

Pulp used in our SCOTT Naturals Bathroom Tissue, towels and napkins are treated using processes called Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF) for the new/virgin fiber and Process Chlorine Free (PCF) for the recycled fiber. It’s the sensible blend of those fibers that helps us deliver the quality and performance consumers expect from SCOTT® products. Additionally, because the treatment chemicals are used up during the bleaching process, none remain in the pulp that goes into the product.

IS THIS SAFE TO FLUSH IN AN RV?
SCOTT Naturals™ Bathroom Tissue is safe for sewer/septic and is safe to flush in a RV.

IS THIS SAFE FOR SEPTIC SYSTEMS? SEWER SYSTEMS?
SCOTT Naturals™ Bathroom Tissue is safe for sewer/septic. It is as equally flushable as our other SCOTT® bathroom tissue product.

In fact, you can expect softness comparable to other branded bath tissue, and outperforms branded 100 percent recycled fiber bath tissue products.

If the product is used for microwave cooking, we recommend that you always note the precautions and follow the guidelines outlined in the microwave oven owner's manual. Do not dry herbs, vegetables or flowers on paper napkins in the microwave oven. Any paper product can burn during microwave cooking if conditions are right.

In fact, you can expect softness comparable to other branded napkins, and outperforms branded 100 percent recycled fiber napkins.

DO WE HAVE A DISPENSER FOR THE NAPKINS?
No. SCOTT Naturals™ Napkins should fit most standard napkin holders.

To feel cleaner and fresher than toilet paper alone, we offer SCOTT Naturals™ Moist Wipes. These wipes are pre-moistened for thorough cleansing and freshening.

SCOTT Naturals™ Flushable Moist Wipes are flushable and are suitable for use with dry bath tissue as part of your bathroom routine.

DO THEY CONTAIN ANY ALCOHOL?
No. SCOTT Naturals™ Moist Wipes do not contain alcohol. Additionally, the wipes are free and clear of dyes.

ARE THE WIPES ANTIBACTERIAL?
No, the wipes were not formulated to destroy bacteria.

ARE SCOTT NATURALS™ MOIST WIPES BIODEGRADABLE?
By weight, approximately 90 percent of the SCOTT Naturals™ Moist Wipes composition is wood pulp and water, which are common, biodegradable ingredients.

DO SCOTT NATURALS™ MOIST WIPES CONTAIN SOAPS OR OILS?
No, SCOTT Naturals™ Moist Wipes do not contain oil or soap. However, they do contain mild skin cleansers and emollients.

DO THEY HAVE AN EXPIRATION DATE?
Unopened wipes have a two year shelf life.

ARE THE WIPES FLUSHABLE?
Yes. The flushability of SCOTT Naturals™ Moist Wipes is based upon the size of our product and the quantity used. We have conducted testing to be certain the wipes move through plumbing systems. Results of this testing indicate that our product can be used in a plumbing system in good working order. For best flushability, we recommend that consumers use one to two wipes per flush.

IS THIS SAFE TO FLUSH IN AN RV?
Kimberly-Clark does not guarantee safety in all RV models.

ARE THE WIPES SCENTED?
Yes, the wipes are scented, but the formulation, which includes the scent, has been dermatologically tested for everyday use.

CAN YOU USE THESE ON YOUR FACE AND HANDS? TODDLER?
Yes, the wipes are safe to use on other parts of the body and are gentle enough for toddlers and infants.
